Description
In this Course I want to show you how to play in the style of Eric Clapton during his From the Cradle era back in the mid 90’s. From the Cradle was one of my favorite albums to practice along to when it first came out, and that album heavily influenced my blues lead guitar style. Clapton’s phrasing, tone, and dynamics were just klller to me during this time period.
The solos you will learn in this course are my own creation that I derived from listening to the studio album and various live performances that I found during this time period. Third Degree, Five Long Years, Someday After Awhile, and Early in the Morning styles are the tunes I’ll be drawing inspiration from.
In each solo Lesson I’ll break down every lick note by note and describe where the phrase comes from, things to take note of to play this lick properly, and the technical aspects of getting the lick to sound right.
There are 3 Camera Angles, On Screen tab, and a 12 Bar Cursor so you can see exactly what I’m playing and where the lick is at in the 12 Bar Blues.
You’ll learn 132 bars of Classic Clapton style slow blues in this Course. By learning all of this material you will have a full understanding of how to play like Clapton during this time period. This Course is available in the All Access Pass and as a Download.
