In this lesson I want to show you how to play a ZZ Top Just Got Back from Baby’s style solo. This is one of the very first ZZ Top Blues tunes I had to learn for a band way back in 94′ or so. It’s one of my favorites and a lot of fun to play. This lesson is in the key of C.

I have to tell you that I have been cheating on you!! I have been doing some Tim Pierce solo’s and David Gilmore as well. BUT …. Every time I come back to Learning Guitar Now, it is more my style and YOU are the best teacher. No matter how often I come to your site (I haven’t been in a while) I always learn something, or pick up something that I was learning. Sometimes just to review a lesson I already learned is well worth it!! I will always remain a faithful member even if I occasionally stray for a little harder or classic rock, which is crazy, because I am old as a Dog !! No matter what I always come back to the Blues and you, my Man!!

I am going to try a new lick learning strategy…I am going to learn each lick in 2-3 different positions…BTW, I LOVE that Les Paul, she is a beaut…
