John, I am really enjoying the All Access Pass to your blues guitar instructions. I am an older player (65) who just enjoys playing the blues in my home to CDs or u-tube videos. I find myself bouncing back and forth between the “Play Like” series, the backing tracks, and blues rhythm and lead lessons and have noticed a marked improvement in my playing and confidence. I am learning more about rhythm playing and lead licks and I am finally starting to break out of the 5 blues boxes and pentatonic scales and find those bluesy in between notes. Great course that I have recommended to others. Thank you! Chuck Faull

I can’t say enough about John and his lessons. I’ve always wanted to be a slide player but I have never been able to get the hang of it, until I stumbled on to one of John’s videos on YouTube and decided to check his site out. I definitely don’t regret it and it is absolutely worth the money. My slide playing ability has increased so much, in such a short amount of time. His lessons are complete, very detailed, very structured and have a logical flow. John will take you from beginner to as far down the road as you are willing to go. He is very approach able and very responsive with any questions you might have. His website is very polished and easy to navigate. I love the way the lessons are presented with the videos having multiple camera angles and interactive tabs with a looping function. I strongly recommend that if you are looking to improve your blues and or slide playing you should definitely sign up for Learning Guitar Now All Access Pass. There aren’t any other sites out there that are this complete or detailed.

I came to LGN as an advanced player who was looking for some ideas and techniques to round out my playing and get back into guitar shape after close to twenty years away from serious guitar work. I’ve had the all-access pass for three months now, and it has exceeded my expectations and I have been able to adjust my goals for guitar upward quite a bit. I’ve learned better ways of doing things I knew how to do already, but even cooler than that, I’ve learned a lot of new things that I’d never done before. John’s teaching is clear, organized, and to the point. He explains and demonstrates everything very well and in a way that allows you to easily build from one concept to the next. One thing that I found surprising about the online format is that John anticipates questions and issues really well and incorporates those into the lessons so it is almost like having him in the room with you. If you are looking to learn something specific, the individual lessons are great, but if you are like me and just want to hop around to different things as you progress, as well as keep challenging yourself with new things, the all-access pass is the way to go. In terms of music expenditures, the all-access pass is the best $20/mo I’ve ever spent, and I can’t recommend Learning Guitar Now highly enough.

Hey Guitar Players, Check this out!!!
This website is where it’s at if your really looking to learn blues in many different styles in an easy laid back way.
Here me out for 20 seconds, I don’t get paid to write this I pay John every month and it’s so worth it.

I absolutely love this website and the format, lessons and most of all John’s Playing/teaching style and methods.

As another member pointed out I have also ordered dvds and have tried out every Big guitar website out there for good quality instruction. When I finally saw that John started an All Access Pass which mean’s all of the content whenever you want I was signed up immediately. All of the courses are professionally filmed and tabbed out and most importantly John showing how it’s played and he slow’s it down as well. His way of teaching is laid back and to the point.

I am addicted to the blues and if you really want to get some new licks and styles into your playing give it a shot.

This is it for me, One guy teaching and all the information is easy to find.
I found other sites to be too busy with too many teachers. I didn’t want to learn metal, jazz, classical or anything else so why Pay for it. I already knew how to play guitar and I wanted to really dive into learning different style Blues.

John will take you from the beginning and will show you the techniques and styles of all the greatest Blues players out there to get your own guitar path going.
John’s All Access Pass is the most bang for your buck on the web period in my opinion.

By the way if your really into tone and guitars/tube amps his gear is amazing, his tone is amazing and the guy can play his a$$ off. He will show you how to get those amazing tones you listen too and wonder what tricks the players are doing
If your serious about learning blues and being a well rounded guitar player I recommend “Learning Guitar Now”

This is it folks, a golden goose egg for you guys/gals that have been searching the web looking for Blues content. Do yourself a favor and try it out. If you’ve seen the site and heard John’s playing well I am just a regular guy telling you it’s the real deal.

I was happy to stumble on to learn guitar now. Have played guitar for many years and like many musicians I am always on the look out for new ways to get better with my choice of instrument. Inside of learn guitar now is an fret board adventure with sharp turning corners of 7TH chords and finger blistering knowledge and how to bend to the correct Half or whole tone and ascending up the highway of major c with plush scale techniques, What a ride! Look there are a lot of here let me show you how on the internet and I’ll charge you an are or a leg for the service and at the end of the day you learn how to play a 3 cord progression and it takes you 2 months, heck that even happens in my home town. But learn guitar now is an easy internet based guitar learning center where you can go at tour own pace. For me it was the Blues content in this website that hooked me I purchased the whole year and I use it every day I have learned a tone of techniques already that I didn’t know. So from beginner to advanced player looking to build on there skill set it’s a no brainer, Buy this course put in the work and you will be pleased.

Really enjoying the Open E slide guitar courses! Videos are well done, and lessons are clearly communicated and depicted. Lessons logically build on one another and you’re quickly playing some cool slide tones! Easy to move along at your own pace. Could have used this 40 years ago when I was in high school … Fun!
