I have enjoyed Learning Guitar now from in the early DVD and download days to present. What has always impressed me is John always seems to select the various styles and techniques of so many of our collective “guitar heroes.” He doesn’t attempt to teach you how to copy, so much as to understand the artists’ styles, techniques, and tunings, to compliment your personal style of playing and preferences. I’ve learned a great deal from his lessons and have improved my library of skills from those important influences. His sections on gear and research has been equally informative and useful.
