Gibson SG in Standard Tuning and Fender Vibrolux No Effects

In this demo I want to show you what Gibson SG sounds like into a cranked Vibrolux with no effects whatsoever. Many times students don’t realize how many tones are available just with volume knobs, tone controls and mixing finger and pick styles.

To me this tone can be somewhat reminiscent of Dickey Betts tone at the Fillmore East at some points in the video. Can you spot the Fillmore Reference?
