Hi John, I've bought your CD's and love your lessons. Maybe I'm missing this on your website somewhere but if I'm not I would like to suggest that you put a features chart on your website which would make ordering a lot easier since we wouldn't have to analyze each course to see what's included and what's not. For example, start with your 28 CD course in the first column and list the content of all 28 CD's down the page with check marks in this column beside each of the content that's included. Next to your 28 CD course, add a second column, for say, your Blue's course and place check marks under that column for each of the content that's included... and so on... This would certainly make it easier for me to make a decision on what to get next. Thanks, Michael

I was playing slide in standard for a year, wasn't quite able to emulate the sounds I heard coming from my favorite players despite much effort. I was a little intimidated by Open E--that dang G# string! John's Open E slide course changed that--now I'm only playing slide in Open E, and very happy with my sound and development on the slide. Best $ I ever spent on guitar lessons in maaaaaany years. Thanks John!

Not only does Mr. Tuggle provide an understandable approach to the melodic and soulful blues licks he teaches, but lends advice to creatively improvise around a chord progession/melodyi can play on my own beloved SG, something few other online guitar instructors will be willing to do. With John's lessons I would not be half the blues/jazz guitarist I am today. John is keeping great music worth hearing and playing alive through his fantastic and very helpful lessons.

I can definately recommend this set of lessons... Even if like me, you're a mediocre bedroom player, the patterns alone will have you playing some great sounding BB style licks in no time..seriously. This lesson even inspired me to go buy a 335! Great value...

I recently bought the full Blues Guitar course. I've played for about 20 years now (mostly acoustic) and about a year ago decided to get back into electric. I thought for sure I'd have no problem whipping through disc 1 and moving onto disc 2 as I was already familiar with the scale patterns, etc. I was quickly humbled after getting to the "licks" part of the disc. I've already made a point to practice these licks daily and look forward to what is in store on the other DVD's in this compilation.

I purchased the complete blues guitar course and slide guitar course about a week ago. It has taken me this long just to breeze thru the lessons! Tons of content with detailed instructions on scales, patterns, theory, tips and tricks. John is a very gifted player himself and presents the material clearly without a bunch of unnecessary glitz. These DVDs are easily worth a year or two of private lessons. Highly recommended. Bring on some more!

Thanks so much John. This is a GREAT lesson. I never realised how important, and how much you can expand your lead capability learning intervals. Plus you are a GREAT instructor

I've downloaded countless lessons from the web and Mr John Tuggle's lessons are by far the coolest and most informative lessons I have ever owned. He takes his time, identifies where problem areas lie, and provides excellent tips on enhancing playing. I have his Blues Method 1-5 as well as the Solo Package...This is top notch and tons of fun.......Dont waste your time searching for a teacher, John is the best !!!!!!!!

I bought the full Blues Guitar course and it is fantastic value for money. Packed full of information and comes with full tab and great backing tracks to practice along to. I've barely made a dent in learning all the info in the Blues Guitar course (there is some challenging stuff to learn here) but after seeing the quality of the lessons i immediately bought the Blues Solos and Licks

John's videos and backing tracks are awesome. Over the years I've viewed quite a few instructional videos and have found that John's outrank anything I've thus far heard or saw. He breaks every riff down and clearly shows both left and right hand techniques that he applies to the riff. He leaves no confusion or guess work to the viewer, nor does he waste a lot of time talking about it. He's straight to the point and articulate with what he's saying. the backing tracks that John offers are great as well. There's plenty of time and room for improvisation along with incorporating all the riffs John teaches. Whether your a beginner or a hard core guitarist searching for new riffs and styles I'd highly recommend John's work Peace...Johnny E.

I am working on the slide open e guitar course. The skill building format is great. I like learning at technique & then adding to it. The customer service has been great also

Great site with plenty of meat to digest. The slide lessons are particulary a must to beguiners and intermediate players alike. Lots of free stuff too. Highly recomended!

I have a lot of instructional DVD courses that I have purchased over the years. These courses range from an astronomical number of licks which vary between tempo, keys and rhythm to a graduate study in theory. What I like about your course is that they are well thought out with an emphasis on expanding each lick by connecting it to the previous lick which ends in a completion of the jigsaw puzzle. Finally, someone understands a guitar solo is longer than one bar.

I purchased the standard tuning slide guitar dvds , and they are buy far the best dvds out there for slide , The teacher is very thorough and each lesson is very easy to understand. Buy these dvds and you will be playing slide in no time.

JWT works for me.I have the slide in standard tuning DVD set. This set is great because John spends the time needed, but not too much, on each lesson.I know if I learn everything on this set that i will be a GREAT slide player. So far i am 1/2 way thru the 1st DVD and am just hovering there so when i get farther down the road in this set i will have the Basics down.My slide playing is incredible and just getting better.Thanx John.I'm writing a Blog about this DVD study coarse and where i am each day.that can be seen on my FB page.

Each method of the blues takes you to a level beyond the basics of any other course I have tried. It gets to the point and presented a way you can understand the concepts of each lick. I like the fact that you learn from these methods (Blues Method Lessons) and not have someone showoff how great they are and all you get is a fraction of what really needs to be taught. These are the real deal.

Simply amazing. I have been playing for over 20 years and had never been able to get anywhere with slide guitar. After only four months of working with the DVD lessons I am playing things I never thought possible. By far the best lessons I have ever had.

I have been playing guitar for 30 years and have always had a love for Blues and Southern Rock. I thought I already knew both leads in Stormy Monday and other Allman Bro's songs, but I have to tell you that since I started seriously going through all John's CD's my chops are so much better, it's sick! I learned things I have been missing. Just goes to show you, you can teach an old dog new tricks, and you don't know what you don't know !!! I highly recommend every CD he puts out, and I live in Vegas, far, far from John's stomping grounds, so I am not a plant. I have to say one more thing THANKS, JOHN TUGGLE !!!
