When it comes to playing the slow blues tunes, "Slow Blues Slide Guitar" nails it down. Inside the course are the scales and patterns used to play this style of guitar. John progresses you thru the licks, training exercises, turn-arounds and a slide solo that you can play to Stormy Monday. There is also a Slide Rhythm lesson on this DVD as well. By the time you work your way thru all of the lessons of this course you will have developed skill playing the slide guitar and feel very comfortable doing it. I have purchased and progressed thru all 5 of John's slide guitar courses. All the courses are presented in an excellent learning format. The camera work, lesson plan, the presentation, tabs, and John's teaching skills give a student confidence that these lessons will improve their guitar playing. John's tabs are the most accurate tabs I have ever come across when it comes to Duane Allman. John doesn't miss a single note or stroke.
