So, maybe you’ve already learned the minor pentatonic scale.
Is this DVD for you?
If you’re looking to expand your understanding of the minor pentatonic scale, and develop professional skills to learn improvisation, then this DVD is for you. This is NOT beginner blues guitar material.
Are you stuck in the pentatonic rut everyone is always talking about? I have been there!
In this DVD, I will show you 7 patterns that are a “must-know” for anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of this scale.
I also show you a sliding scale that will allow you to go from the 1st fret to the 10th fret in one fluid lick. This is pretty good stuff that starts to open up the fretboard for you.
Concepts You’ll Learn
All the licks, solos, and examples are written out in PDF Tabs. You’ll receive a link to download 7 pages of tabs in PDF format. Here’s an example.
You’ll receive 2 high quality mp3 track recorded with real instruments that contain dynamics within the track so you can react to playing changes. Preview 1 track below.
It’s not a good feeling to have that nice guitar and amp, but everytime you play the guitar, you end up playing the same old blues licks over and over again. I want you to get out of that rut! This is why I developed Blues Guitar Method 1: Minor Pentatonic Scale. I can remember when I felt like that, and what I did to get out of it. Let me help you discover that joy of creating the music you’ve always wanted, but never quite got a total grasp on how to do it. With my DVD, I guarantee you will never look at playing blues guitar the same way, or your money back!
Show up at the next blues jam session armed with powerful new blues guitar chops unlike anyone around.
Sounds too good to be true?
Well, it isn’t if you develop the right skills and mindset when learning how to play blues guitar. Developing the right “skills”, will unlock many doors that have kept you from playing the electric blues guitar the way you’ve always wanted. By applying the concepts in this DVD, you WILL begin playing the music you know and love.
In addition to learning licks and techniques, you will learn a solo using everything you have learned. Listen to the solo you will learn.

Blues Guitar Method 1
I am 62 years old so my patience is not the best but this method really has me practicing and understanding what I am playing. The backing tracks really help and helps me to keep practicing. Understanding the scales has put every thing into prospective.
Great product
This is the best thing I have ever purchased for learning the Blues Guitar. It is easy to follow and I highly recommend this DVD. Really got me on the right track, so thank you John.

Excellent Product
I really like the first blues learning program. It was heavy with good simple useful information. I will buy the next volume when I finish learning this one. I played guitar years ago and just recently got into playing again.
You can teach an Old Dog new tricks!!
It was pure luck that I stumbled on to the Learning Guitar Now Website. I now own Blues Guitar Method DVD's 1 through 5 and all the Slide Guitar DVD's as well. It is incredible the positive changes that have occurred in my soloing. I took me a while to start thinking about the neck a new way, but when I incorporated John's ideas into my already Southern Rock/Blues influenced style, the results were nothing short of amazing. John provides everything you need to significantly improve your playing, no matter how good you already are. The rest is up to you !!! The way he has done the "Backing Tracks" only adds to the enjoyment of learning. Some nights, I just play solos to the backing tracks for hours, and you never know what is going to come out next. The real beauty is playing without thinking. Once you have the concepts down, what comes out, is from the heart, and better than what you were playing before you started the lessons, even if what you were playing was already good !!!
The best Blues lessons anywhere
knew number 1 minor pattern and number 1 pattern for the major penatonic. Did not know there was more patterns and that all the patterns connected. Much more confident in working up and down the fretboard. This lesson was a opening door for me. I can breathe again. John explains the lesson with ease. The tabulature is easy to read. This lesson will bless you. Thank You, John
